A high school student narrowly escaped serious injuries during Boswell High School’s homecoming parade in far north Fort Worth on Monday evening.  The 15-year-old boy was struck by a trailer taking part in the parade when he hopped out of a moving truck to toss candy at spectators. Investigators say the parade was moving quite slowly at that point, therefore his injuries are not serious.  Even so, he was taken to the hospital to get checked out.  Boswell High School is part of the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw District and no statements have been released on the incident.
