Jimmy Johnson is out, getting voted off the CBS television reality game show “Survivor” last night. Now 67, the former Cowboys coach became the third player eliminated on Day 8 of the current edition which is set in the jungles of Nicaragua. Many TV critics thought Johnson had a tough row to hoe from the start. For one thing, he’s the oldest of this edition’s competitors and some felt he was not up to the game’s physical demands. Others thought his celebrity worked against him because many of the show’s male contestants may have resented his success in football and broadcasting. In the end, he was ousted in a unanimous vote of his tribe-mates.
