Listening to Jasmine’s tone and judgment leaves a sick feeling in my stomach. It is this mindset that has me lose faith in modern society. How can so many wish ill to a man who has already paid his debt to society? Have we no faith in our justice system? Who among us are pure to have such judgment on a man who is but a victim of his own upbringing and needed a harsh wake up call to realize his mistake? We are all raised in different settings and must embrace the differences among us. That though we are raised in a modern society of law doesn’t deny that many others in our society or around the world have harsh childhood environments. So to simply wish the worst to a man who has done all he has to prove his understanding is but the conceited mindset at its best.
