gasrig Questions About Air Quality Standards Involving UTA Gas Wells Gas wells on the UT Arlington campus may be in violation of air quality standards. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will notify Carrizo Oil and Gas their UTA gas well site may be connected with medical problems of a neighbor living 600 feet away.

Sandra DenBraber had submitted doctor’s letters to TCEQ complaining of a list of medical problems, including migraines.  TCEQ investigators  don’t confirm the UTA wells are to blame, but say no other sources were found making them the likely source.  DenBraber says the drilling has stopped for now.

KRLD has  not  heard back from Carrizo.  UTA says they will have no comment at this time.
