Some Arlington condo owners are trying to figure out their next move now that they’ve been told there will be no help from FEMA to cleanup from Tropical Storm Hermine. 13 counties, including Tarrant and Denton counties, experienced torrential rain and flooding in the storm that ended up killing 8 people in Texas. Many had to be rescued, and some chased from their condos in Arlington by rising water are now scrambling again. Residents were hoping for federal help, but Governor Rick Perry says that’s not going to happen, because the government has denied his request for a disaster declaration. Jennifer Fowler tells CBS-11, like most others, she didn’t have flood insurance and now her family is homeless.
