With Rangers baseball fever heating up, there has been an unusual amount of traffic at an otherwise nondescript Fort Worth intersection. Last night, of course, Rangers pitcher Cliff Lee notched a huge win, beating the Yankees at Yankee Stadium, giving the Rangers a 2 to 1 lead in the American League Championship Series. Lee was also responsible for two of the team’s three wins over Tampa Bay in the Division Series. So, suddenly the intersection of Cliff Street and Lee Avenue is drawing visitors with their cameras to snap photographs of the Cliff-Lee street signs. Cliff and Lee intersect just west of Rodeo Park, less than a mile from Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyards District.
