Irving (105.3 The Fan) Well, the Wade Watch is on today.  There is even a rumor out there that Phillips rode home on Jerry’s private jet to discuss…something.  Said Jerry after the game regarding Wade’s future

“I’m not talking about that right now,” Jones said. “I’m concerned. I can’t put my finger on it, because I don’t have enough fingers. There are a lot of people here that are going to suffer consequences, and I’m talking about within the team – players, coaches that have careers. This is certainly a setback.”

People are still wondering about the Brian McCann fumble that turned into a touchdown at the end of the first half.  Had the clock been under 2:00, then you would have seen an official called replay.  But since the Cowboys were out of timeouts, one of which was used to challenge a 2 yard touchdown run by Brandon Jackson which was an idiotic call considering it would have still been 2nd and goal with the overturn, they had left themselves without a challenge.

This streak of mediocrity is not just the young guys.  What the hell is Terrence Newman thinking when he had a soccer moment and kicked the ball after the Jay Ratliff  blocked field goal.  The Cowboys would have had the ball at the 44 yard line, but instead were backed up to the 18.  Jason Witten did not get a piece of Clay Matthews on a first half drive that ended with his stuffing in the back field.

What will Jerry do today?  He knows this is going to kill him in the pocket book.  How many people will be there for the 1-8 Cowboys vs. the Lions in two weeks. All things that are running through his mind as we speak.  Stay tuned.
