Welcome Home The Frogs Sunday Afternoon

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The TCU Horned Frogs are returning to Fort Worth Sunday as champions of the 97th Rose Bowl.

Along with thousands of fans and alumni, the administration is planning a rally for the team Sunday afternoon around 4:00 p.m. when the team buses pull back on to campus.

The welcome home rally will take place in the parking lot of the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, next to Amon G. Carter Stadium off Stadium Drive.

TCU slipped by the top level college football team by the skin of their teeth due to a missed field goal. That still does not validate them. It only gave them a taste of what top college teams face very game of the season. But they will find ouf soon enough next year. Good Luck!

What game did you watch, Pete? TCU, with their undersized line caused Wisconsin to attempt to play catch up the whole game. Who knows what next year will bring with new players but they deserve much more credit than they’ve received this year.

Pete has a point. The Badgers would have made the field goal and then TCU would have run the kickoff back for a touchdown. So the final would have been Wis 22 TCU 28. In the end the score is the score. If Wisconsin was the better team they would have found a way to win. Of course if TCU had lost, it would be “They were never very good anyway” and when they win it is “They are still not very good”. They know they cannot win off the field.
And next year will be rebuilding so not nearly as good as this year but I think they will hold their own. Until they lose Patterson……

sounds like sour grapes to me

What a great season and great start to 2011 with TCU’s Rose Bowl win! Look forward to what 2011 holds! Congrats to all the players coaches, and all apart of this great school!

Wisconsin averaged about 45 points a game this season. If they could have scored 45 points against TCU, then a missed 3-point field goal wouldn’t have been a factor.
