Mountain West Puts TCU Game At Boise State

BOISE, Idaho (AP) – The Mountain West Conference has made a scheduling change in favor of incoming Boise State over outgoing TCU.

The board of directors voted Tuesday in Las Vegas to hold the lone Mountain West football matchup between Boise State and TCU in Boise, Idaho, this fall. TCU was ranked second and Boise State ninth in the final Associated Press football poll.

The Broncos had been slated to visit Fort Worth, Texas, this fall, but the conference issued a statement saying it switched the host team to help “address current and future scheduling concerns created by the new set of circumstances which stemmed from another change in membership.”

TCU is leaving the Mountain West for the Big East in 2012.

The change also means Boise State will play San Diego State in San Diego, rather than at home this fall.

TCU, BYU and Utah made that conferance, now they are all leaving. Rust in peace Mountain Worst. For all TCU did to bring recognition to that conferance, this is their thank you, well at least San Diego State will beat Boise at home and TCU will kick their ” donkey” when they play at Smurf Stadium.
