FORT WORTH, (AP) A judge has granted the Texas Rangers’ request for a temporary restraining order to prevent changes to parking at their baseball stadium.
The ruling came Thursday in response to a lawsuit the Rangers filed Monday against a company run by their former owner, Tom Hicks. The company controls most of the parking around Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
The Rangers claimed Hicks’ group broke an agreement and threatened to drastically increase parking prices. The restraining order last for 14 days.
Both sides continue to negotiate.
