DeSoto School Board To Discuss Future Of New Superintendent

DALLAS (AP) – The DeSoto School Board is set to discuss the future of the new superintendent who came from an Atlanta school system embroiled in allegations of widespread cheating on standardized tests.

Items on the Monday evening DeSoto ISD board’s agenda include addressing the employment of Kathy Augustine, who has denied having knowledge of test cheating when she was a deputy superintendent in Atlanta. The agenda says discussion will include a “possible voluntary exit agreement.”

Earlier this month, Augustine was put on paid administrative leave while the DeSoto district re-examined her time in the Atlanta system. She was hired in April for a salary of $188,000 a year.

The lying teacher from the DISD has been on paid leave for 17 months or more. Kathy can be comfortable in the knowledge that her checks will continue to roll in for a long time!

She has only been accused not convicted of wrongdoing. Only in America “guilty until proven innocent.” Our forefathers are turning over in their graves.

ROFL!!! This is so funny. Watch her interview in 2010. She has memorized this extremely boring diatribe to explain the spike in learning. Once she is found guilty she can move to Southlake next to KUIWAMZIE KILPATRICK(whatever that dumba$$ from Chicago calls himself). I thank the school board of DeSoto for contributing to my amusement.

I am not in the DeSoto school district but if she is hired, you will get what you reaped.

Why are they wasting time and taxpayer money? Just get rid of her.

  6. P.B says:

She played the Desoto school board like a guitar, Idiots. She has knowledge about everything that went on within her previous school district. If not, that should let Desoto ISD know that she wasn’t doing her job there. Nine times out of ten, she won’t do it here.
