Thousands Lose Power In North Texas Storms

DALLAS (AP) – Storms packing rain and strong winds have left thousands of North Texas homes and businesses without electricity.

Oncor on Wednesday reported crews were working to restore power to more than 7,300 customers. The utility says most of the outages were in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The National Weather Service says showers were likely for the area through Wednesday, with sunny conditions returning Thursday.
