countries affected by the “arab spring” this year and supported by the west clearly intend or intended to become democratic nations in varying degrees. initially that will probably come to pass but dont expect it to last long. this is the world of radical islam. groups like the muslim brotherhood allready have strong followings in all of these nations. it can be assumed they will eventually gain enough power through the political process of democracy to start imposing sharia laws on the populace. libya has 2% of the worlds oil so they should be able to financially take care of themselves. however ive noticed our leader has allready offered millions in aid. by by tax dollars as people go hungry here. we should limit all aid to these countries. sooner or later we will have to go to war against them. maybe not in our lifetimes, but in our childrens lifetimes. this country never learns from its mistakes. we helped the mujahideen take afghanistan from the russians in the early 80′s. osama bin laden was part of and key to the network of support we used. most of the over half billion dollars were funneled through the haqqani network. from these groups al-qaeda and the taliban spun off.
anyone besides me see a pattern about radical islam? every group we helped regain their nation in the 80′s is our worst enemies today. responsible for the deaths of not only just thousands of americans, but tens of thousands world wide. did we just make this problem worse? yes we did. what type of government that may work for us will not work everywhere. we need to realize that.
