N. Texas Police Looking For Serial Rape Suspect
PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - Three North Texas police departments are looking for a serial rapist who attacks women connected to a sorority.
The four victims are all black women in their mid-50s to mid-60s. All of the women are associated with the same sorority.
Police would not confirm the name of the sorority, but CBS 11 has since learned the women are all part of Delta Sigma Theta.
During all four assaults, the suspect indicated that he knew personal information about the victims. All of the women were attacked in their own homes.
Police in Plano, Coppell, and Corinth are all looking for the man. This is how they describe him:
- Black male
- Late 30s to mid-40s
- 5’7″ to 6’0″
- 250-300 lbs
- Heavy build
- Short haircut, possibly with thinning hair or a receding hairline
- Possible thin, well-trimmed beard
Plano police released a series of photographs of a man they are trying to identify in connection with one of the attacks, although they have not said specifically that he is the suspect. The pictures are still frames from surveillance video taken in Plano in April, at the time of one of the four assaults.
