DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – Cowboys CEO/Owner Jerry Jones gave his evaluation of the (4-4) team at the halfway point in the season today on The Jerry Jones Show with New School on 105.3 The Fan.

“I think with where we are, at this particular point, I said I wasn’t as concerned with the way Philadelphia beat us and with the way a lot of people thought I should be. On the other hand, I saw a lot of things this week that we should work on and that I’m concerned about.” said Jones.

When asked about the injuries plaguing the team Jones remarked “I’m concerned now that Miles won’t be back until after Thanksgiving. We’ll see how that goes. Sean Lee, we’ll see how he practices this week and if he does practice.”

And what does Jones think of the current offensive identity of the Cowboys, “I’ve always snickered at identity, candidly.” He called the idea of identity a notion of “broad terms” and gauged “in the eyes of the beholder.” He adds: “What we like to do is impose our will and running the ball against them [opponents]when they have eight man fronts.” Also says that the Cowboys need to “hold on to leads” and “I hope we’re a team that technically can control the ball at the end of the game.”
