DUNCANVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Firefighters spent the cold morning battling a 2-alarm fire near Duncanville.

Fire crews responding to the fire, in the 7400 block of Camp Wisdom Road, shut down the street. The blockade, just south of I-20 near the Spur 408 interchange, made it difficult for those trying to get to Loop 12 and nearby interstates.

Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze quickly. Most of the damage was centered on the first floor of the 5,700 square foot home.

The homeowners were not at home.

Fire crews are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
