Dallas Head Shaving Video Sparks Homeless Woman Search
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Homeless advocates and Dallas police are trying to find a missing woman who, from all indications, hasn’t been seen since a disturbing internet video of her was posted online last month.
The video shows the woman being harassed, teased and slapped while two men, in a barbershop, shave her head and eyebrows.

After some investigation, Dallas police found out the woman is known as Susie.
Police say the incident happened in a barbershop on Northwest Highway.
There were two men seen in the video and a third person taped the incident. Police say only one of the two people seen worked for the barbershop and has since been fired. The second person seen in the video wasn’t a barbershop employee.
At one point, one of the men makes a proposition. “I’m gonna go buy you a miniskirt, some high heels and you’re gonna make money for me, right?” he said to the woman.
Homeless advocates have joined the search for Susie.
David Timothy runs the SoupMobile, a non-profit, mobile soup kitchen, and is helping look for the woman.
“There does seem to be this feeling that these homeless are almost sub-human and it’s okay to beat up on them, or degrade them, or abuse them,” said Timothy.
Ultimately, Timothy said the actions of the people in the barbershop must be addressed “We’d like to see some accountability. “It’s totally degrading what they did to this woman,” he said. “We’d like to see that whoever did this be brought to justice and let other people know that it’s not okay to do this.”
Dallas police said they started looking for Susie more than a week ago, after they got a tip alerting them to the video.
