Missing Dallas Homeless Woman Found Safe

TERRELL (CBSDFW.COM) – A Dallas homeless woman who has been the subject of an exhaustive search after video of her showed up on youtube has been located in Terrell.

The woman, known by the name Suzie, was shown on video being harrased, teased and slapped while two men in a barbershop shaved her head and eyebrows.

After the video was brought to the attention of Dallas Police, an active search was started to find her to check on her safety.

On Thursday, Suzie called David Timothy of Dallas’ SoupMobile charity to let him know she was okay.

Timothy tells CBS 11 Suzie is at the Terrell State Hospital, and contacted him after people at the hospital saw reports about her.

    This makes me sick. These jerks are bonafide bullies in the worst way. I hope the barber shop is shut down for good. Such a poor example of compassion for those “not like us”.

      Sadly, this is not the punishment the law gives, so maybe some good ol’ prison time and the hellish things that go on inside the joint will suffice.
