TEXAS (AP) – Hotels across Texas are participating in a program that provides free rooms on Christmas Eve for those who have friends or family in a hospital, nursing home or treatment center over the holidays.

The program, called Room in the Inn, has been provided since 1988 by TMI Hospitality Inc. A list of the Texas hotels that offer this program can be found at tmihospitality.com.

According to a news release, the company’s hotels have provided more than 1,800 in free hotel rooms on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve over the last two years.

TMI Hospitality is a nationwide property development and management company.
