The location of a fatal early-morning accident on Jan. 15, 2012.

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – A 35-year-old Arlington man was killed when a truck slammed into his stalled car on the shoulder of Interstate 20 near Matlock Road.

Kolawole Grando, 35, wasn’t able to get his stalled vehicle completely away from the path of traffic at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday. A truck traveling in the same lane barreled into the car, killing Grando. He was declared dead at the scene.

No other charges were filed in the incident. The man in the pickup truck was treated on scene for minor injuries.
