FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price will deliver her first State of the City speech since being elected to the office last year, but she won’t be doing it in the typical fashion.
Mayor Price is expected to outline her priorities during a February 23 luncheon at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The speech will take the form of a question and answer session.
“Instead of me standing up there talking only about the things I believe are important, I want to also have a conversation about what our businesses and residents believe are important,” said Price in a news release from the city.
Fort Worth residents can e-mail questions for the mayor to consider to fwmedia@FortWortTexas.gov.
Questions must be submitted by February 21.
The State of the City is the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce largest annual gathering.
