FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth school board will officially hire its new superintendent Tuesday night.
Interim Superintendent Walter Dansby was named the sole finalist last month. But by state law, he could not be officially hired until now.
Dansby has been with the district for nearly 40 years.
He had been deputy superintendent until last year, when Melody Johnson retired.
The board will also decide on Dansby’s salary tonight.
