FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) – Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn will miss at least the next two games after suffering what head coach Glen Gulutzan calls “a significant cut on his leg” during Thursday night’s 3-2 overtime win over the Calgary Flames.

Benn was injured when Calgary’s Mark Giordano’s skate caught on his left thigh during the 2nd period of the game.  He was on crutches during the Stars’ workout on Friday morning.

Benn will miss Saturday night’s game in Phoenix on TXA 21 and Sunday’s home game against Nashville.  Gulutzan hopes Benn will be able to play again on Tuesday night in Montreal.
