The warm, muggy conditions continue across north Texas. A few morning showers are around now in the eastern counties but are moving away from us.
Expect another day around 80° with a breezy south wind. Mostly cloudy skies and a few storms developing in the afternoon.
Tomorrow afternoon we’ll see more T-storm activity, it’ll be across our western counties. The real weather show arrives Monday with a potent upper level low moves across Texas. We are going to have some strong storms on Monday and Tuesday along with some heavy rains.
After this system pulls away late Tuesday we’ll enjoy cooler weather, highs around 70 degrees. Still slightly warmer than it should be this time of year.
Its rather obvious now that the growing season started early this year, about a full month early. If you took a chance on this and did some early planting you were rewarded with ample rain as well. Lets hope for some green pastures this year as area cattleman start rebuilding their herds after the last year’s drought.
