HAZMAT Teams Clean Fuel Spill At Dallas Landfill
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Hazardous materials teams were called after a 110-gallon 18-wheeler leaked between 10 to 15 gallons of fuel in the Dallas landfill at 5100 Youngblood Road Monday, Dallas Fire Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said.
No one was injured during the spill, nor was there an immediate risk of fire, Evans said.
Authorities had to be called to “off-load the remaining gallons” that spilled.
Evans did not know the specific cause of the leak, but the scene was cleared by 7:15 p.m.
