FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Independent School District is offering the ultimate reward — for a teenager — to high school students with perfect attendance.
The “It’s Cool to Stay in School” attendance incentive campaign is offering students the chance to win a new car.
One lucky student will win a Dodge Challenger.
But the contest isn’t just an ordinary raffle. The Cool to Stay in School incentive is only open to Fort Worth ISD students in grades nine through 12 and students can only enter if they have perfect attendance for at least one six-week grading period.
Given that attendance is tabulated each six-week period, students with perfect attendance in multiple grading periods will be entered multiple times, and thus have more chances to win. Attendance records for the entire 2011-2012 school year will be considered.
Drawings will be held on each Fort Worth ISD campus and 15 district-wide finalists will be chosen. Those students will then be entered in the final drawing which will be held on May 22.
