COLLEYVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District is holding its annual district art show.

The art, done by students in grades K-12, is on display at the district’s Professional Development Building in Colleyville.

Art teachers chose 15 to 20 pieces of art from each school and art class. Students did paintings, drawings, mixed media, pottery, and much more.

Tuesday night, the students and their families were treated to a reception for the show, complete with punch and cookies. The show runs through Wednesday March 28th. The hours are 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

At the end of the show, one piece of art will be selected and bought by the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD School Board. It will then be placed on display in the board’s headquarters.
