ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Firefighters in Arlington were able to quickly put out a blaze at an apartment complex early Tuesday morning in the 1700 block of West Randol Mill Road.
According to fire officials on the scene, the flames started just after 4:30 a.m. in the center of an upstairs unit. But officials are unsure of exactly how or where the fire began. There are 12 units in the apartment building, two of which were fully involved when crews arrived on the scene. All 12 of the units were evacuated and nobody was injured in the process.
Crews were able to keep the fire contained and prevent it from spreading to other buildings thanks to a fast response time. The fire station is located directly across the street from the apartment complex.
