CBS 11 Photojournalist Vince Bosquez was given a tour of damage in Lancaster the day after a tornado ripped through the city.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – San Antonio-based grocery chain H­-E-B is donating $50,000 to the American Red Cross and will take customer donations that’ll go toward helping those affected by Tuesday’s tornadoes.

There are five area Central Market and another five H-E-B locations where folks can donate. Those are below:

In a release, H-E-B says shoppers can donate by adding $1, $3 or $5 to their total grocery bill. No purchase necessary.

Donations will be used for “safe shelter, necessary medical care, consistent food supplies and clean drinking water.”

The company has already given the Red Cross pallets of water and sports drinks, and has stocked the Lancaster shelter with food, baby food and health products, the release says.

H-E-B operates more than 335 stores in Texas and Mexico.
