DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) – Tuesday night, Dallas police received a call that a puppy had been doused with lighter fluid and set on fire. When officers arrived, they found a four-month-old Lab hiding. The police report says a group of people had tortured, burned, and tried to hang the puppy. DFW Rescue Me named him Justice, in hopes that justice will be served.
Justice was taken to the emergency animal hospital where he has been undergoing treatment and pain relief. He has second and third degree burns over 60% of his body, but the doctors are optimistic that he will survive. There is an ongoing investigation of the suspects.
If you have any any information on the criminals who did this, please contact DPD at 214.671.3503. If you would like to donate to poor Justice’s hospital bills, please click here and use “Justice Fund” in the Special Instructions field.
