ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - If you were going to mine the internet for the perfect catchphrase for how Mike Napoli has been hitting this week, it would have to be ‘Like A Boss!

That’s not to say he’s been slugging like a Saturday Night Live skit, it means the Rangers catcher has been hitting home runs in other stadiums like he owns the place.

He especially proved that Tuesday and Wednesday in Boston, going back-to-back games with 4 RBI’s, and 3 home runs overall in Fenway Park.

Since last Friday, the man has 5 home runs and is batting .400 (a .300 point raise since last week) – He’s ‘gone yard’ in 4 straight games and he’s still going strong as the Rangers set to tee it off against the Tigers Friday night on TXA 21.

TXA 21’s sports mastermind Dandy Killeen put it best.  “TXA 21 is trying to confirm the report that MLB had to make an emergency order for baseballs in both Boston and Detroit because Napoli had ripped the cover off ever ball in both Bean-Town and Mo-Town.”

He did all that, AND became an internet star in his own right this week with his own meme.  Check out his pictures at mlbmemes.tumblr.com.

An honorable mention has to be made for Josh Hamilton.  Hambone has hit safely in every game, scoring 3 home rungs and 9 RBI’s while swinging a .462 average.  Hamilton certainly hasn’t been as flashy as he’s been in the past, but that may be of his own doing says 105.3 The Fan’s Richie Whitt.  He described Hamilton’s work as “Offense plus defense plus solving his blue-eyed daytime problems.”

RJ Choppy concurred.  “You’re being fooled by home runs. I’ll take the guy who gets 3 hits a night. Give me Josh.”

But despite their best effort and a lively email debate between TXA 21 and The Fan, Mike Napoli takes the Ranger of the Week honors for his lively work swinging his bat Like a Boss!
