As the hearing got underway there’s was a motion by Deion’s legal team to close the courtroom to the public.
During the hearing the judge is expected to examine the protective order issued against Pilar, as well as address accusations that Deion has violated the gag order issued in the case.
In addition, Deion has been charged with criminal mischief in connection with the alleged destruction of a cell phone owned by his wife’s friend.
Thursday CBS 11 News had exclusive video of the damaged phone that police now say is considered evidence.
