EULESS (CBSDFW.COM) – Police have confirmed that a body found near highway 157 and 10 is a match to a missing teenager.

The Euless Police Department confirms that medical examiners have identified the body of 19-year-old Ashley Valladares.

The cause of death has not been determined but police are interviewing several people.

Around 11:30 p.m. on May 4,  Ashley Valladares had reportedly left work at KFC in Euless and returned to her apartment that she shares with her boyfriend.

The boyfriend reportedly told police Valladares was in the apartment with a man he didn’t know. The man told officers Valladares cut hair for extra money and he believed the man was a client.

The boyfriend allegedly left after becoming angry that the man was in the apartment so late.

He got in his car and was leaving. Last he saw she was chasing after him telling him not to leave,” said Lt. Eric Starnes, spokesperson for the Euless Department. “He said he came back about 1:30, 2:00 o’clock in the morning, she was gone [and] all of her stuff was there at the house.”
