Rangers Better Than Ever After 2nd World Series

ARLINGTON (AP) – The Texas Rangers have the best record in the major leagues and a record seven players going to the All-Star game.

After going to two consecutive World Series, they are still one of the best and most popular teams.

Texas plays game No. 81 of its 162-game regular season Tuesday night. The Rangers are the only team with 50 wins so far, eight more than they had at the same point last year.

General manager Jon Daniels says the Rangers have found ways to win even though they haven’t really clicked on all cylinders since their 12-2 start this season.

All-Star left-hander Matt Harrison and Japanese ace Yu Darvish are the only starters from the opening-day rotation not on the disabled list.
