DALLAS (AP) — Three restaurants at Dallas Love Field will be permanently closed to make way for construction on a new lobby.
City officials Thursday announced that Chili’s Grill & Bar, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s locations in the main lobby will shut down Aug. 1.
Passengers will continue to have access to a variety of concessions and restaurants inside the concourse after going through security. Other food vendors in the baggage claim area will remain open.
A statement from the city, which owns and operates the close-to-downtown Dallas airport, says lobby construction should be completed next spring.
Love Field is the home airport of Southwest Airlines Co.
