DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Dallas discovered a body inside of the cab of an 18-wheeler on Monday morning. The incident happened along Interstate-20, near Bonnie View Road, when an officer pulled over the truck’s driver for erratic braking. The driver stopped without incident.

But as the officer questioned the suspect, he noticed the body wedged in a floor board space. According to police, the body showed visible signs of trauma.

The driver was taken into custody. The Dallas County Medical Examiner is investigating the case.

Initial reports from authorities indicated that the 18-wheeler may be stolen, however, that has not yet been confirmed.
