Severe Weather Timeline for this Weekend in North Texas
SEVERE WEATHER THREAT…
Storms will be likely late Saturday into early Sunday morning. Some of these storms will be strong to severe. High winds, hail are the main threats. I can’t rule out an isolated tornado threat. But the greatest threat will be high winds with these storms. The timing of the storms for DFW look to be between 7pm and 2am. Here is a look at the severe weather outlook for tomorrow. Storms will likely get going between 4pm and 7pm in our western counties (i.e. from Wichita Falls to Abilene). These storms will then move southeast toward DFW arriving after 7pm and before 2am.
MILD, WINDY AND MAINLY DRY FOR TEXAS VS OU…
It will be partly cloudy and windy for the big game at the Cotton Bowl tomorrow. Kickoff is at 11am. Winds will be strong out of the south gusting to 30 mph. There could be some drizzle and light rain for pre-game activities but it will be dry for the game.
Here is a look at the timeline for storms this weekend.
