A Tornado Watch is in effect until 7pm for just one of our counties in the SE corner: Anderson County and the county seat of Palestine.
The rain has left all other counties in our area. Rainfall reports from our Storm Spotters are very modest:
Linda Sherman in Rockwall: .10″
Donna Giblin in Decatur: .15″
We had .03″ of rain at DFW Airport, this is the first measurable rain there since Oct. 13th.
After a breezy morning with temperatures in the low 70′s the cold front dropped temperatures down to the upper 50′s. With the drier air the lower winds the temperatures then recovered into the low 60′s. The winds are now shifting from the NW to a north wind. Temperatures will quickly drop to the low 50′s by late evening and all the way down into the upper 30′s by tomorrow morning. Highs will barely hit 60 degrees for a high tomorrow with ample sunshine.
Highs in the 60′s all the way to Thursday as we finally enjoy some cool Fall days here in November.
