IRVING (AP) – Dallas played a long game against the Browns on Sunday, and now faces a short week.

And Washington’s Robert Griffin III is on his way in for the most appropriate of Thanksgiving games: Cowboys vs. Redskins.

It’s safe to say the sigh of relief was brief for Dallas after Sunday’s 23-20 overtime win against last-place Cleveland.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the team would enjoy a wild rally against the Browns “for another 10 minutes” before moving on to Thursday’s game against Washington, a blowout winner against Philadelphia on Sunday.

It’s the first NFL game in Texas for Griffin, the Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor.

Dallas has injury issues in the offensive line, and third-string running back Lance Dunbar could be the No. 1 guy if Felix Jones (knee) and DeMarco Murray (foot) can’t play.
