PAKRER (CBSDFW.COM) - Visitors on Saturday at Southfork Ranch posed for photos and wrote down their memories as they paid tribute to the late Dallas star Larry Hagman.
“I’ve been watching it since it came on when I was a teenager,” Monica Smith said.
A special day at Southfork Ranch included a free tour and a chance for fans of the show Dallas to sign a guestbook remembering Larry Hagman. The 81-year-old actor died in late November.
But Southfork is where he famous character J.R. Ewing will continue to live for tourists from all over the world.
Janna Timm, a spokesperson for Southfork ranch says people have left gifts to pay tribute to the late Hagman. “Lots of people brought cards and flowers and they’re all there in the atrium, it’s been a wonderful day,” Timm said.
Southfork has plans for a museum to honor Hagman and the show Dallas will resume at the ranch later in December.
