PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) - A missing 83-year-old Plano man was found safe in Richardson early Monday morning just hours after a Silver Alert had been issued for him.

Ramon Alarcon was reported missing Sunday evening from his home off Mariposa Circle in Plano.

Authorities had been concerned because Alarcon reportedly suffered from dementia and had left his home without taking his cell phone.

He was found safe in Richardson, but a Plano Police spokesperson early Monday had no other immediate details on how or where he was found.
