FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) – Allen Iverson has declined an invitation from Donnie Nelson and the Texas Legends to re-join the NBA via the D-League.
Iverson used twitter to announce the decision on Tuesday.
I thank Donnie and Dallas for the consideration and while I think the D-League is a great opportunity, it is not the route for me.—

Iverson last appeared in an NBA game in 2010 with the Philadelphia 76ers, scoring 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting. He was released in March 2010, three months into the season.
He attempted to play with Besiktas in Europe during the 2010-2011 season, but lasted only three games after battling a calf injury.
But is his NBA dream complete?
To my fans, I love yall! Not a day goes by that I am not asked when am I coming back, we all must accept my return is not up to just me.—
