DFW AIRPORT (CBSDFW.COM) - That major northeastern winter storm is causing dozens of flight delays and cancellations at DFW International Airport.

American Airlines announced early Friday that it was now cancelling 475 flights system-wide across Friday and Saturday because of the monster storm, including 30 flights each day at DFW Airport.

The airline suspended the usual charges associated with making ticket changes for customers traveling to cities such as New York, Boston and Newark.

“Due to weather, American Airlines offers customers the convenience to change their plans,” the airline said on its website.

Travelers flying out of DFW Airport can follow the latest flight information on the airport’s website.
