North Texas Bunny Gets Around In Custom Cart After Amputation
(CBS News) A few weeks ago we introduced you to “Chris P. Bacon”, a piglet born without back legs who learned to use a special wheelchair. And we all “oohed” and “ahhed” over him. Today I’d like to introduce you to “Lily the Lionhead Bunny”. Get your “oohs” and “ahhs” ready…
I should have warned that if you watch Chris and Lily back-to-back, you may end up with a case of the adorable overloads. The way too cute clip was posted by YouTube user TwoBunnyBlog, and Lily herself is currently a resident of the North Texas Rabbit Sanctuary, who write about her:
Lily came to us with a broken back and had to have both back legs amputated. Lily needs to have her bladder expressed at least twice a day to prevent a urinary tract infection (UTI). A custom made cart was made for her so she is be able to move about easily with her very own set of wheels!
