Heavy rain fell across north Texas last night, some areas saw 2″-3″ of rain. Urban flooding happened in Dallas and Collin country overnight:

Heavy Rain

The storms of last night (and early morning) have been pushed to the east thanks to a cold front. Gusty northwest winds will dry us out and keep us on the cool side. Did you turn your clocks forward an hour last night?

We are expecting a high today of only in the upper 50’s. We’ll have sunshine by afternoon and northwest winds gusting up to 25 mph.

NTX Tomorrows Highs

Tonight I expect lows to get close to freezing, perhaps just a few degrees above in the metro area. We’ll have two nights in a row of this; perhaps the last freezing weather of the season. The typical last freeze for DFW is March 13th.

NTX Next Nigh Lows

Highs on Monday will again only be in the upper 50’s.

Great news for those around here on Spring Break, we’ll be dry and warm from Wednesday on to the Weekend. Nice Spring weather!
