Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle joined G-Bag Nation on 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday night to discuss a number of topics, including the upcoming NBA offseason.

How important is this offseason for the Mavs?

“It’s very important. We have at least seven roster spots open — and possibly nine,” said Carlisle. “We’re going to try to get involved with some of the better free agents. There will be a lot going on.”

Carlisle also took the opportunity to discuss the NBA Finals, ‘Ronnie’ Artest, and Jason Kidd’s potential as an NBA head coach.
