Drought Worsens in Texas, Lake Levels Dropping

The drought continues to worsen across the state and here in North Texas. Here is the latest drought update. Areas along and south of I_20 are now in the Severe drought category.
If your area is in the peach, orange, red, or dark red color you are considered to be in a drought. The arrow shaded in yellow is considered to be dry, but not officially in a drought.
