This weekend you can play tribute to the American Cowboy and an ‘80’s movie all for free!
The grand opening of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Richardson is just 13 days away but before their doors even open they’re offering up movie going experiences this weekend for free. It’s their Free Outdoor Summer Series and Saturday night take a trip back to the ‘80’s for the screening of The Goonies. Gates open at 7:00pm and the film rolls at sunset. There will be food trucks and beer from local breweries plus giveaways and a few film-themed surprises.
Down the road in Plano, This Side Up Family Center is having a Free Family Splashfest and 2nd Annual Duck Race
On Saturday morning experience the role of cowboys and cowgirls, celebrate National Day of the American Cowboy at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Named the “Best event of its kind in the Nation by the Western lifestyle magazine, American Cowboy.
