No big improvement or worsening of the drought in the past 7 days.  Most of North Texas remains in a drought.  Below is the map showing the different classifications of drought.  Areas in the moderate drought (light peach color) thru the darker reds are considered to be in a drought.

So far at DFW we have seen 17.35″ of rain this year.  That is a deficit of 4.90″.  No rain in the forecast just more triple digit heat.
