TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – The teenager suspected of killing a six-year-old Saginaw girl has been released from the hospital.

Tyler Holder, 17, was booked into the Tarrant County Jail shortly after midnight on Wednesday.  He is still under the care of JPS Hospital.

Two weeks ago, he was shot in the head during a struggle with police as they tried to arrest him for murder. He’s also accused of shooting Officer Charles Lodatto during that struggle.

Police say Holder sexually assaulted and suffocated Alanna Gallagher before wrapping her nude body in a tarp and dumping it along a Saginaw residential road.

Holder is being held on a million dollar bond.
